Kim Deveney

Kim worked as an accountant for several years before starting American Funding in 2003. She has a passion for helping small businesses and loves being able to help start-ups and growing businesses improve their cash flow with factoring. She is very involved in her community and various business and finance organizations. When she isn’t working she likes to spend time with her “fur babies” and volunteers at the local animal shelter. Her favorite quote. “Always do the right thing, even when no one is watching.”

Amber Jarrett

Amber worked as banker for years before coming to American Funding in 2013. She loves the uniqueness of small businesses and learning about different trades. She enjoys learning about her clients goals and working with them to achieve them. Outside of the office she likes running and spending time with her husband and two daughters. Her phrase to live by is ‘Let all that you do be done in love.’

Kristy McHenry

Kristy worked as an elementary school teacher for many years before joining American Funding. She enjoys helping small businesses achieve their goals by accelerating cash flow. She considers herself a partner to her clients and is always looking for the best way to increase their bottom line. In her spare time she enjoys reading, gardening and walking with her dogs. Her favorite quote, “Life is all about choices and I choose to focus on the positive.”

Anna Calhoun

Anna joined American Funding Solutions in December of 2018. She previously worked part-time in finance and marketing before graduating from the University of Kansas in 2018. She is passionate about working with small businesses, and enjoys getting to know each of her clients personally in order to better understand their individual needs. In her spare time, she can be found in the gym or spending time with family and friends. Her favorite quote is, “the best preparation for tomorrow is doing your best today.”

Angie Erwin

Angie worked in the healthcare sector for many years before coming to American Funding in 2020. She enjoys encouraging others and looks forward to working with her clients to help them accelerate their business opportunities. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking, gardening, and volunteering. Brett Hoy

Brett came to American Funding Solutions after graduating from the University of Central Missouri in May 2022 with a degree in finance. He also worked as an intern at a bank before taking this role as an account manager. He enjoys being able to help small businesses with their cashflow needs, as well work with clients to help them with anything and everything they might need. In his free time, he enjoys disc golf, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. His favorite quote is “It is never too late to be what you might have been.” -George Eliot

Danielle Moore

Danielle joined the American Funding team in August of 2021. She enjoys being an advocate for small businesses and helping clients problem solve. Outside of the office she likes spending time with her cats, travelling, and appreciating nature. The phrase she lives by is “You are the major key to your own success.”

Lauren Dean

Lauren trained and served as an elementary and special education teacher before coming to American Funding Solutions. She enjoys building relationships with clients and helping them resolve issues. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and reading books. One of her favorite quotes is, “Everybody is a genius, but if you judge a fish by the ability to climb a tree, it will live its whole life believing that it is stupid.”

Renee Houg

Renee is our most recent employee in September of 2022. She joins American Funding Solutions with an array of work experience. She previously worked as a remote bookkeeper for a custom home builder. She is eager to learn the factoring industry and help small business owners meet their highest potential. In her free time, she loves spending it with family and friends and watching her two daughters spin on their school’s color guard team. Her favorite quote to live by is, “Don’t let anyone ever dull your sparkle.”
